Josefina Catherine Cunningham

This testimony is about my three-year-old little sister Josefina Catherine Cunningham, an African American girl who was murdered on July 7 2023, in Rensselaer, New York, by thirty-three-year-old white man R. J. F.

I believe God used her while she was living on this earth, and until her time of departure drew near. God used her to show how children are the greatest in the kingdom of God. Just like the Apostle Paul when he was at the end of his race and about to die he said,” I finished my course.” I believe my sister’s course to make African American history.

In just a short time she lived, her death was powerful and profound. This means life is not measured in how long we live but how we live until we die. She was a very bright light in her days.

My sister finished well. I will continue to honor her legacy. It reminds me of the Emmett Till Story, the African American boy who was killed in Mississippi in 1955 at age of 14 they were both very young.
