Bridgetown, Barbados October 18th, 2022 — Barbadian Author, Attorney-at-Law, artist, and speaker Jewelle Maynard-Roberts releases her second book. ‘Precious‘ by Jewelle Maynard-Roberts is a reminder women of all ages need as they face different stages in their life. The publication was released via Kindle and print editions on October 15th to help readers recover their significance in the midst of life’s difficulties and deserts.
The Kindle edition of ‘Precious’ is available for free on Kindle Unlimited for exclusive Amazon Prime members or for purchase starting under $1 during launch week, which ends on October 20, 2022.
‘Precious‘ is a book for every woman who has ever lost sight of her worth and finds herself searching to recover her best parts. The book is structured in a devotional style to become another tool for readers in their own journey. The author uses faith-based tools such as scriptures from The Bible to connect with readers. Key topics found in this book include recovering your significance, self-forgiveness, discipline, affirmation of your God-given design, overcoming disappointment and loss, discovering yourself again, and discovering God.
Beyond being an author, Jewelle Maynard-Roberts has successfully achieved her creative passions, career, and faith. With her own experience, she releases ‘Precious’ as a tool and reminder for other women to continue their self-development in challenging or uncertain situations. About Jewelle Maynard-Roberts
Jewelle Maynard-Roberts is an Attorney-at-Law, artist, writer and speaker. Jewelle’s journey in the arts started during her years in secondary school, where she earned an Irving Burgie Award for Excellence in the Creative Arts for her work in the CXC and CAPE Visual Arts programmes.
She was also a student of music and one of the first students to complete the pilot CXC Music Programme. Her love for the arts never waned over the years, leading her into worship leading and the field of songwriting. She has also co-written with Barbadian artist Nicovia on her first album and between 2012-2014
Jewelle taught songwriting seminars and classes in the gospel arena. As a worship leader, Jewelle also led the songwriting arm of the worship ministry of The Church of God at Orange Hill, Barbados.
She was a member of the Kingdom Arts leadership team and in her role as Event Coordinator, held responsibility for the Lead Lounge and Kingdom Fashion and Visual Arts Gala events in 2018-2019 and in 2021, assisted in the coordination of the Kingdom Arts online video series “Fashion Connect”
Following God’s leading, and answering His call to become an author, she began sharing written devotionals and inspirational art for women and wrote eight women’s inspirational devotional series.
