For over 35 years, Ed has been living with the long-term effects of cancer and radiotherapy treatment. Due to neurological damage Ed now has restricted speech, is hearing impaired and is fed through a gastro tube. In 2014 he had to retire from his full-time job as a vicar in the Church of England. Although his body has been weakened, his ability to communicate restricted and his identity stripped away, it is God’s Word that feeds him and keeps him moving forward in hope.

He has walked along one of the most difficult roads that a human could ever walk, yet he has shone as one of the brightest lights that I have ever seen.’
