In a world where unresolved childhood trauma and emotional wounds often manifest in adult relationships and hinder spiritual growth, Mary Jane Armstrong offers a beacon of hope with her powerful new release, “Brave Enough to Risk Change, to Live Free: A Story of Healing and Hope.” This deeply personal and transformational book shares her own candid journey from shame to freedom in Christ, providing both transparency and wisdom for those longing to experience the same healing.
Armstrong’s story is one of raw vulnerability. Raised in a dysfunctional home where abuse and trauma left deep emotional scars, she carried the shame and lies from her past into adulthood, affecting her marriage, relationships, and ministry. But through her brave pursuit of healing, she encountered the life-changing power of God, who led her to confront her past and ultimately find freedom.
“When you are brave enough to allow the Spirit to search and clean out the darkness within, your story becomes His story of redemption, power, and transformation,” says Armstrong. “It becomes a story of hope and promises for a future that we cannot humanly comprehend; a story others need to hear before the darkness swallows them up.”
With the same grace and courage that fueled her personal transformation, Armstrong now helps others embrace the possibility of a life free from the chains of their past. Readers who have experienced trauma—whether recent or rooted in childhood—will find comfort, inspiration, and practical tools to begin their own healing journey.
“Brave Enough to Risk Change, to Live Free” is more than a book. It’s a roadmap for anyone who desires to break free from shame and find healing through the Spirit of God, community, and faith. Pastors, ministry leaders, counselors, and individuals seeking emotional and spiritual healing will discover a profound resource that speaks to the heart of our shared human experience.
Mary Jane Armstrong’s “Brave Enough to Risk Change, to Live Free” will be free and available for download on Amazon for 5 days, Tuesday, October 8 through October 12, 2024. “Brave Enough to Risk Change, to Live Free” is rated highly by those who purchased and reviewed the book.
