Born into a fractured family environment, she carried deep wounds that shaped her identity, relationships, and view of the world. What began as childhood hurt eventually became a protective shield. Despite seeking answers, she found little relief. Religion seemed distant and ineffective, and professional help could not address the emptiness she felt within.
Everything changed when she encountered Jesus.
“Jesus entered my life, and nothing remained the same,” Angelique writes. “The anger, anxiety, sorrow and grief that once defined me were replaced with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and gentleness.”
What followed was a remarkable transformation that inspired her to share her testimony with others.
Remarkably, the book itself was born out of that transformation. After surrendering her life fully to God, Angelique says she felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to write down the stories of her life. In just nine days, she completed approximately 45,000 words, documenting memories and experiences that illustrated both the depth of her brokenness and the extent of God’s healing power.
