FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Gilbert, Arizona – Monday, July 14, 2025

C.S. Fitzpatrick’s, “The Mark of the Nemesis” will be available tomorrow, July 15, 2025 and ebook free to download for five days through July 19, 2025

Imagine a world where talking animals roam, unseen realms invade, and a young boy holds the fragile future of his family, and perhaps his entire world, in his trembling hands. In The Mark of the Nemesis, debut novelist C. S. Fitzpatrick delivers a gripping fantasy adventure that echoes the timeless magic of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and the urgency of the Left Behind series.

Thirteen-year-old Jev’s life on the family farm is already teetering. A looming debt threatens to destroy their home, and his father has vanished on a desperate mission to save them. But Jev’s struggles take a cosmic turn as he uncovers an imminent invasion from the Invisible Realm — an apocalyptic threat that will challenge everything he knows about trust, courage, and destiny.

As ancient prophecies unfold, Jev is thrust into epic battles, guided by mysterious beings like the ever-present T’Shal. He must confront forces far greater than himself and wrestle with the agonizing question: Can one boy’s fragile faith really stand against the rising darkness?

“No matter where you go or what happens to you, I’ll be with you. You get my protection … and my friendship.” — T’Shal to Jev

With unforgettable characters and chilling threats from ruthless debt collectors, The Mark of the Nemesis is both a heart-pounding adventure and a soul-stirring allegory. Readers will find themselves questioning their own readiness for the ultimate battle between good and evil.

Perfect for fans of Christian fantasy, teens, and anyone longing for a story that sparks deeper discussions about faith, courage, and eternal hope, this novel is poised to become a family favorite and a conversation starter in churches and book clubs alike.

Are you ready for an adventure that dares you to ask: Am I rapture-ready?

C.S. Fitzpatrick’s paperback will be available on Tuesday, July 15, 2025; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through July 19, 2025.

Here’s what’s being said about “The Mark of the Nemesis ”:

“The Mark of the Nemesis” is hard to put down. I would guesss that young people ages 10 through 17 would be most attracted to this book, but I’m 80 and found it a delightful and rewarding read. The note from the author at the end ties this allegory together and makes an unmistakable spiritual connection to life on the planet Earth today.”  — Les Connell, area director, Gideons International

“I was completely hooked by The Mark of the Nemesis. From the first page, it felt like I was transported to a dreamland. The characters, settings, and backstoires were so vivid and alive – I couldn’t put it down. No one could interrupt me while I was reading. The story stays with you long after you finish. I can’t wait to dive into the next one!” — Rebekah N., age 13
