New Book Continuing Covenant by Dr. K. Alan Stokes Invites Readers to Rediscover the Covenant-Keeping God who Moves Through Generations

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Book Continuing Covenant by Dr. K. Alan Stokes Invites Readers to Rediscover the Covenant-Keeping God who Moves Through Generations

February 24, 2026 – Faith leader and spiritual voice Dr. K. Alan Stokes, author of Continuing Covenant: Extending His Faithfulness to a Thousand Generations, and founder of Born to Know Him Ministries announces the official book launch and kick off of his publishing media ministry on Saturday February 28, 1pm at Spencer Presbyterian Church, 113 1St Street, Spencer, North Carolina.

Stokes’ book delivers a gripping testimony that reads like a sacred memoir and spiritual awakening intertwined. This is not merely a book—it is an invitation to rediscover the covenant-keeping God who moves through generations, addressing the realities of grief, triumph, and even near tragedy to fulfill His promises.

Unlike traditional autobiographies, Continuing Covenant refuses to unfold “in the usual”

chronological fashion. Its movement mirrors revelation itself—layered, intimate, and Spirit-inspired. Integrated podcast reflections and chapter prompts invite readers not just to observe a story—but to examine their own.

Continuing Covenant is a powerful invitation to see God’s hand in your own life. Through a mother’s vow and a son’s journey of faith, K. Alan Stokes reveals how divine purpose weaves through every season-guiding, shaping, and calling us forward. Honest, heartfelt, and deeply reflective, this book inspires you to pause, look inward, and discover the sacred threads of God’s covenant still at work in your story.  – Chuck Thompson – Cary, NC

In Continuing Covenant, Dr. K. Alan Stokes delivers an attention-grabbing, heart-wrenching testimony that begins not with his own voice—but with his mother’s prayer of dedication. This book is not simply a memoir. It is the breathtaking collision of a mother’s intercession and a son’s journey through experiences of grief, rebellion, calling, supernatural intervention, and relentless divine pursuit.

This book does not offer surface inspiration.

It challenges perspective with piercing questions:

  • Are you living beneath a generational prayer you never knew was spoken?
  • Have you mistaken delay for abandonment?
  • What would change if you truly believed God keeps covenant?
  • What if your greatest pain is part of a promise unfolding?

Before he took his first breath, Stokes’ mother made a defining decision. Haunted by previous loss and gripped by fear, she surrendered her unborn son to God in a covenant prayer—dedicating his life entirely to divine purpose. That prayer did not fade into sentiment. It ignited a lifetime of unmistakable encounters with the Holy Spirit, supernatural intervention, and relentless divine pursuit.

From a childhood moment standing alone in a junkyard, surrounded by snarling dogs and frozen in terror—only to experience an unseen presence that drove them back—to the deeply personal journey of walking alongside a mother descending into Alzheimer’s while uncovering the full weight of her covenant vow, Continuing Covenant captures the breathtaking reality of a God who allows the fullness of the human experience, yet intervenes in ways that His presence is undeniable.

Readers will walk through seasons of doubt, burnout, grief, calling, disease, endurance, and breakthrough. They will confront the difference between fear-driven perception and faith-rooted truth. They will wrestle with what it means to deny self, take up the cross daily, and follow Christ beyond comfort and logic.

But perhaps most powerfully, they will be asked one life-altering question: Are you living as the answer to someone’s prayer?

Continuing Covenant is now available in Hard Cover, Kindle and Audio and can be purchased on Amazon. Schedule interviews with Dr. K. Alan Stokes, or to learn more about the integrated podcast experience, please contact:

redefining hustle

High-Achieving Christian Women Invited to Rethink Hustle
-
Download for Free February 24, 2026

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – New release challenges overachievement culture and calls women in business back to Jesus-led success.

Gilbert, AZ— At a time when burnout, self-reliance, and pressure-driven ambition are quietly exhausting women of faith, Erin Harrigan offers a different path in “Redefining Hustle: Navigating Success with Jesus.”

A coach, speaker, podcaster, and former corporate leader, Harrigan writes to high-achieving Christian women who love Jesus but feel torn between their drive to succeed and their desire to live surrendered. Her message is both personal and practical: ambition isn’t the problem—but misaligned ambition is.

In today’s marketplace, overachievement is often praised as discipline and devotion. Yet many accomplished women privately wrestle with anxiety, identity confusion, and a lingering sense that success still isn’t enough. Drawing from her own turning point—when years of striving left her face down on the floor, overwhelmed—Erin invites readers to disentangle identity from accomplishment and rebuild their work rhythms around obedience, prayer, and trust.

Rather than rejecting ambition or baptizing hustle culture, she calls women to meet Jesus “in the middle,” where faith and business are no longer competing priorities but fully integrated.

Erin writes from a defining crossroads in her own life, when years of striving left her exhausted and confronted with a choice: continue pushing the boulder uphill in her own strength—chasing titles, income, and external markers of success—or finally surrender and allow Jesus to lead. Tired of carrying the weight alone, she chose surrender. That decision became the bedrock of the framework she now teaches, guiding women to harmonize faith, life, and business without falling into frantic striving on one side or passive retreat on the other.

Erin Harrigan’s paperback will be available on February 24, 2026; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through February 28, 2026. Early readers are already sharing how much the story has touched them—here’s what a couple of reviewers have said:

If you’re navigating leadership, growth, or big decisions and want Jesus at the center of your work, this is a must read.

New Book Calls Church Back to God’s Design for Sexuality
-
Download for Free February 24, 2026

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – A former same-sex partner shares biblical truth and personal redemption in a culture of confusion.

Gilbert, AZ— As cultural definitions of love, gender, and identity continue to shift, Mark Richard is urging believers to return to what he describes as God’s clear and unchanging Word. His new book, “Sacred Sexuality: Grace and Truth Revealed in a Culture of Confusion” (Redemption Press), recently received the Literary Titan Book Award. In the book, Mark addresses what Scripture actually teaches about sexuality—while sharing his own journey from decades of sexual brokenness into freedom in Christ.

At the heart of “Sacred Sexuality” is a straightforward conviction: God created sexuality with purpose and boundaries. Drawing from Genesis through the teachings of Jesus and the apostles, Mark affirms that sexual intimacy is designed by God for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and that identity is rooted not in desire, culture, or personal experience—but in Christ. In a time when even many churches hesitate to speak clearly, Mark offers biblical clarity without abandoning compassion, reminding readers that obedience to God is not repression, but the pathway to wholeness.

For years, Mark believed his desires defined him. Scripture ultimately revealed a different foundation—identity rooted not in attraction, experience, or past choices, but in Christ alone. He wrote “Sacred Sexuality” out of a deep conviction that truth and grace are not opposing forces but partners in redemption—because no one is too far gone for redemption, and the Church must respond with both truth and compassion.

Mark Richard’s e-book will be free to download on Amazon on February 24, 2026. Early readers are already sharing how much the story has touched them—here’s what a couple of reviewers have said:

Matt
5 Stars If you come across this book… it is not by accident

Wow! The author does a wonderful job of debunking the sexual misconceptions that the world would want you to believe as normal and healthy. He speaks from past experiences and backs his words with scripture. There is a great chapter on how to love our loved ones who are lost in sexual vices and what you should and should not do to help them. “I once was lost, but know am found, was blind, but know I see” is the heart posture of the author who put this book together.

T. Strayer
5 Stars Crafted with excellence, and love

Clear. Concise. And written with Care. I am amazed by the authors ability to so tactfully weave God’s truth with God’s grace. He illustrates the tapestry of God’s love and plan for us which was placed in the beginning. Mark’s heart echoes God’s heart in the desire that none shall perish… you will be blessed by reading this.

From Sea to Shining Sea

New Travel-Inspired Devotional Offers a Daily Pause in a Fast-Paced Culture

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – With constant notifications and the nonstop flow of news and social media, many people feel overwhelmed and want to slow down and breathe. Yet finding time for that can seem increasingly difficult, often creating the sense that what’s truly important is getting pushed aside.

Making intentional time to pause, think, and pray can help relieve that pressure, and regular devotional practices offer one way to create that space.

“In our busy, distracting culture, it’s important for people to remember what matters most and prioritize that,” author John Christopher Frame says. He believes even small, intentional moments spent with God can help people remember life’s deeper priorities and grow spiritually.

Frame encourages renewed focus on God in From Sea to Shining Sea: 50 Daily Devotions from Traveling to Every State in America, a new book he wrote with his parents, Gene and Marsha Frame. The daily readings draw on stories from Gene and Marsha’s travels to all 50 U.S. states. Rooted in the Christian faith, the devotional blends travel, Scripture, and reflection, all aimed at spiritual and personal growth.

“The short devotions in this book not only give you a glimpse into all 50 states through the eyes of my parents — who have been married for nearly 60 years — they also provide a simple way to learn about the country and grow spiritually along the way,” Frame said.

Each devotion is based on one of the 50 states and centers on a faith-based theme. Readers visit a wide range of places in America — from well-known landmarks such as the Liberty Bell, the Baseball Hall of Fame, and the St. Louis Arch to lesser-known sites Gene and Marsha enjoyed exploring, creating a sense of traveling alongside them.

“I want readers to feel like they’ve traveled without leaving home and that they’ve learned things about the U.S. they didn’t know,” Frame said.

The devotions are designed to provide an opportunity to pause for a few moments each day and think about ideas and places not usually highlighted in the news or on social media.

“They invite readers to think more intentionally about their spiritual life and how to become a better person,” Frame said. “After readers spend time with these devotions, I hope they’ll continue developing a daily habit of growing their relationship with God and, ultimately, be changed in positive ways.”

The ebook edition of From Sea to Shining Sea is currently free on Amazon and other major retailers, with a paperback edition also available.

Missionary’s Picture Book extols Commonality Amid Diversity

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – The drive toward diversity and equality is a key component of Western society today. From preschool onward, children learn about cultural and ethnic diversity to help them grow into global-minded, empathic adults.

According to Harvard University professor of neurology Alvaro Pascual-Leone, empathy is a crucial skill that contributes to a happy, successful life. Activities such as listening to music from around the world, trying out global cuisine, and learning other languages open up new worlds of possibility.

As Jennifer Katzinger notes, “learning about a new culture cultivates an enthusiasm for understanding and appreciating diverse ways of living, facilitating positive regard and sharing an implicit message: Our differences are valuable and honorable.”

Long before the secular world acknowledged the importance of diversity, however, the Bible spoke to it as what Christian hip-hop artist Shai Linne calls “God’s ultimate purpose in the gospel—a redeemed, ethnically diverse people worshiping him together for all eternity.”

As a Christian serving with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Papua, Indonesia, Becky Fagerlie was drawn to help Western children expand their worldview and understand that the gospel is also for kids whose lives are very different from their own. In her new picture book In the Jungle, lyrical rhyming stanzas tell the story of a visiting Western missionary child and an Indigenous Papuan boy enjoying a day of swimming, boating, and hunting together.

Despite their lack of a shared language and culture, they meet on the common ground of childhood, demonstrating that the language of friendship and acceptance crosses all cultural and ethnic boundaries. Even as human beings learn to respect and value each other’s differences, “we can find commonality in Christ,” Fagerlie says.

As children develop empathy for others, especially for those who may seem “different,” they are also building “a strong foundation for listening, communications, collaboration and problem-solving—critical skills in a rapidly changing and diverse world,” says Pascual-Leone. Supplementing the teaching of scripture with picture books such as Fagerlie’s will help today’s children become Christ’s cross-cultural ambassadors of tomorrow.

New Christian Book Addresses Faith Fatigue in a Noisy, Post-Truth World
Download for Free February 17, 2026

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – What happens when faith feels harder to hold in a world that never stops arguing about truth?

Gilbert, AZ— As many Christians wrestle with cultural confusion and quiet doubt, theologian and ordained minister Dr. Sean T. Cortopassi addresses those struggles head-on in “The Way Ahead: Walking Together in Faith Through the Spiritual Trials of Our Time.” Supported by more than 300 biblical references, the book helps readers rediscover a steady, thoughtful faith anchored in the unchanging truth of Jesus Christ.

As questions about truth and identity grow louder in our culture, “The Way Ahead” speaks to believers who feel caught between what they believe and what they’re seeing around them. Dr. Cortopassi addresses the tension many Christians feel between knowing the truth and living it with conviction. Instead of brushing aside doubt, the book walks readers through it—helping them anchor their faith in Scripture and remain steady in a world that often feels unstable.

That message is not theoretical for Cortopassi. “The Way Ahead” grew out of seasons of real questions and wrestling, written to help believers hear God’s steady voice again and keep moving forward.

Sean Cortopassi’s paperback will be available on February 17, 2026; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through February 21, 2026.

midnight colors

New book will inspire children to see God’s hand in the world around them

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – On a cold December night in Alaska, a young child laces up their skates and glides across a frozen lake beneath the glow of a full winter moon. Lanterns flicker like fireflies, the ice shimmers, and the world feels hushed and magical. Then the sky comes alive—bursting into brilliant reds and greens as the Northern Lights dance overhead.

With her grandfather’s gentle wisdom by her side, the child learns that these breathtaking lights are more than a wonder of nature—they are a reminder of God’s love and the beauty of His creation.

Midnight Colors is a heartwarming story filled with faith, family, and awe, inviting children to recognize God’s hand in the world around them and cherish the moments that quietly point to His love.

Inspired by true experiences, Midnight Colors was born during the years the author lived in Alaska—years filled with magic that few people ever get to experience. Ice-skating on a flash-frozen lake beneath snow-covered mountains and glowing Northern Lights wasn’t imagined; it was real. Those unforgettable nights, shared with friends and family, became the spark for a children’s story full of adventure and wonder.

Carrie Fields, the author of Midnight Colors, has had a life shaped by extraordinary journeys. Just six months after getting married, she and her husband borrowed money, bought a beautiful old wooden sailboat, and sailed it from Washington to Juneau, Alaska—a 3½-week voyage through Canada filled with humpback and killer whales, eagles, bears, and wild, untamed beauty. They lived aboard the boat for several years, an adventure that left a lasting mark on their hearts.

After starting a family, they eventually returned to California, settling in Lake Tahoe, where that same sense of awe and gratitude continues to inspire stories rooted in faith, adventure, and the wonder of God’s creation.

Midnight Colors is a heartwarming story that will inspire children to see God’s hand in the world around them and treasure the special moments that point to His love. It can be used for education on the Northern Lights, kmnown as the Aurora Borealis. All almost like a very young science lesson. Published by Ark House, it is now available globally.

amakas visit to grandma

New Release Shares the Igbo Language and Culture With Younger Readers

Introducing a child to their family’s culture can help strengthen family bonds through shared experiences. It can also help bridge generational gaps as family members of all ages join together in an activity, such as cooking a traditional dish.

Children who learn about cultures besides their own gain additional benefits, such as an increase in empathy and other social skills.

A new picture book release, Amaka’s Visit to Grandma by Nnenna Ogbonna (Redemption Press), brings both the main character and the reader along through various scenes of everyday life in Nigeria.

Culture and family are intertwined since Amaka’s relationship with her grandma enables her to learn about the culture and language. The time they spend together and the activities they enjoy in one another’s company all serve to share this knowledge and cultural history with the younger generation.

Sensory details and Amaka’s contagious excitement bring this story to life. Amaka joins Grandma on visits to the market, school, and church to show readers that we can find evidence of our traditions and heritage in everyday events and not just during festivals and holidays.

By the end of her visit, she has gained new skills and knowledge and become familiar with the Igbo alphabet. The reader is given the chance to learn the Igbo language along with Amaka thanks to the translated lines included on each page and the glossary at the end of the book.

Inspired by her own family and experiences, the author says she hopes to “reach out to children across the globe, especially those of Igbo descent born in the diaspora  …” With its authentic representation of the Igbo culture, this story provides readers of all ages with an enriching reading experience that also demonstrates the importance of family.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Nnenna Ogbonna was raised in Nigeria by her parents, who were both teachers. She grew up learning two languages: Igbo and English. She now lives in the United States and works as a registered nurse at Duke University Hospital. The mother of three loves to read novels, cook, and travel to new places. master potter simple clay

New Release from a Potter-Scientist-Teacher Delivers Profound Insights on the Heart of God, the Master Potter, and the Heart of Us, His Clay

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – The biblical metaphor of potter and clay is as old as dirt, yet most of us fail to fully appreciate it because modern life affords us little or no encounters with turning clay into a useful vessel beyond Play-Doh and a few art classes in school.

A new release from Redemption Press, Master Potter, Simple Clay: Finding Freedom and Rest as God’s Creation, written by Jennifer L. Duncan-Taylor, opens up the heart of this metaphor with rich insights into working with clay, connecting science concepts, and bringing to light the Scriptures that reveal the powerful message that God, as our Master Potter, passionately wants us to understand His heart for us and for turning our messiness into His masterpiece.

As an experienced potter and now retired biology teacher, the author uses her love for Christ, her fervor for Scripture, and her affection for pottery and science all rolled together in a stunning manuscript that will transform the way you see yourself as “clay” in the hands of God the Potter.

She says, “The potter-and-clay metaphor is about an intimate, lifelong (and eternal) relationship between Creator and creation … It is about being known absolutely by a God who acknowledges every flaw in us yet never gives up on working with us, whose intent is to perform a lifelong miracle of turning a humble hump of mud into a beautiful vessel and then filling us up for His eternal glory.”

Master Potter, Simple Clay weaves together an artist-scientist perspective with charming life stories and personal experiences in the pottery studio in a delightful blend that is engaging and often humorous, but also soul challenging. The author tutors the reader with each chapter as a stage of making a vessel but then relates that phase as a spiritual lesson with “human clay” shaped by the Master Potter.

She takes the reader from the pit to being centered, opened up, lifted up, being trimmed, and eventually fired in the kiln. She covers realities of brokenness, of being remade and repurposed by the Potter. The spiritual lessons drawn from the practical process of shaping clay will forever change your view of God as a Potter and of yourself as clay and the affectionate work He does to shape your life, your soul, your heart.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Jennifer L. Duncan-Taylor takes Master Potter, Simple Clay to churches and women’s fellowships, sharing this powerful message in a live presentation with mud on her hands, actively throwing pots on the wheel while speaking. This book is a much-requested extension to her presentations, providing rich stories that relay deeper insights, drawing in the reader with personal connections and soul-shaping reflection.

Having taught biology at Port Angeles High School on the north Olympic Peninsula for thirty-seven years and having thrown pottery for over thirty years, she established her own pottery studio where she now helps shape beginning potters into accomplished artisans. She and her husband reside in Sequim, Washington, with their two lazy cats, enjoying some travel adventures, good gardening, and bad golfing.

god made with american sign language

New release uses free verse and sign language to tell the story of creation

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Children who belong to the deaf community still have to look long and hard to find deaf characters depicted in picture books. When deaf characters are included, the focus is often on a struggle related to them being part of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Since these are rarely conflicts or obstacles their peers without hearing loss would ever encounter, these representations may not be seen as positive.

A new book release for children ages four to eight, God Made (with American Sign Language), by Ayorkor Adjei (Redemption Press), tells the story of creation with both free verse and American Sign Language. The main character, a little girl who is part of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, shares the story as it has been passed down in her family.

Using gentle, lyrical wording, she shows how God spoke the world and everything upon it into existence. But this story doesn’t come to an end on God’s day of rest; instead, readers are reminded of God’s kindness and encouraged to find this kindness within themselves.

The author’s own experiences inspired her to tell the familiar story of creation in a way that would be accessible to a broader audience. Ayorkor Adjei, who is a sibling of a deaf adult, says, “I want deaf and hard-of-hearing children to be able to have a language at a young age. During my research I found a lot of dictionaries to teach sign language, but teaching sign language through story is a unique way for children to learn and engage with the story because they will be able to see the picture[s], the words in English, and the words in ASL.”

This biblically sound version of the creation account helps younger readers see that they, too, are one of God’s wonderful creations.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Ayorkor Adjei grew up learning American Sign Language from her brother, who is Deaf. She has a BA in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland College Park. While getting her MA in Special Education / Deaf and Hard of Hearing, she also completed the Interpreters Training Program at California State University of Northridge. After working as an interpreter for a few years, she completed master’s degrees in Christian Education and Media Arts and Worship at Dallas Theological Seminary. She has been Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID) certified since 2008 with interpreting skills in various settings. In her spare time, she loves scrapbooking, playing Solitaire, and listening to audiobooks.

Warning Signs: A Journey of Faith in a Dangerous World

New Book Explores God’s Presence Along Life’s Most Dangerous Roads–Download for Free February 9, 2026

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – A pastoral journey of faith, loss, and hope for uncertain times.

Gilbert, AZ— Redemption Press announces the release of “Warning Signs: A Journey of Faith in a Dangerous World” by pastor, author, and artist Rick Wooten, a reflective Christian living book that helps readers recognize God’s presence in seasons of grief, uncertainty, and spiritual struggle.

Drawing from biblical stories and lived experience, “Warning Signs” speaks to believers who feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure of where God is leading. Through the journeys of Peter, Ruth, David, Naomi, John, and others, Wooten reframes life’s hardships not as signs of abandonment, but as moments where God is actively guiding, shaping, and protecting His people.

“I wrote this book for anyone who feels disoriented by suffering or disappointed by how life has unfolded,” says Wooten. “My hope is that readers come to see their struggles not as dead ends, but as invitations to deeper trust and greater hope.”

Blending pastoral insight with evocative storytelling and original illustrations, Wooten offers a steady companion for those navigating fear, loss, and doubt. His gentle, grounded approach provides encouragement without platitudes and faith-rooted perspective without minimizing pain.

Warning Signs: A Journey of Faith in a Dangerous World is ideal for individual readers, pastors, counselors, and small groups, and is also available as a Life Group study.

Rick Wooten’s paperback will be available on February 10, 2026; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through February 14, 2026.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rick Wooten, a passionate artist and writer, blends watercolors and words to create soul-stirring works. Drawing from his experience in pastoral care and creative ministry, Wooten’s writing explores faith, grace, and healing through authentic stories and scripture, inspiring readers to find God’s beauty amid life’s challenges.

New Book Affirms the Strength and Calling of Faith-Filled Women Leaders – Download for Free February 9, 2026

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Gilbert, AZ— In a culture that often equates leadership with visibility and recognition, “She Writes for Him: Stories of Courageous Leadership” offers a compelling and faith-centered alternative—one rooted in obedience, surrender, and trust in God. This powerful new release brings together eighteen true stories from women who have led courageously, often in unseen or costly ways, by choosing faithfulness over applause.

Edited by award-winning author and speaker Sara Cormany, “She Writes for Him” addresses the real challenges women face in leadership today, including burnout, discrimination, impostor syndrome, risk-taking, and the tension between calling and comfort. Through honest and hope-filled narratives, the book affirms that God is at work in both visible platforms and quiet places of influence.

Written for women leading in the home, church, ministry, nonprofit work, and community life, this collection encourages readers who feel weary, overlooked, or uncertain about their calling. Rather than offering formulas or platitudes, “She Writes for Him” provides reassurance that courageous leadership is shaped by obedience, humility, and trust in God’s presence—especially when the path forward feels unclear.

“She Writes for Him: Stories of Courageous Leadership” is the fourth book in the “She Writes for Him” series and features contributions from respected voices with decades of experience in ministry, nonprofit leadership, advocacy, and writing.

“She Writes for Him” will be available on February 10, 2026; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through February 14, 2026.

The Day After His Crucifixion Gives Voice to the Women on Who Walked With Yeshua

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – A moving spiritual novel by Merikay McLeod retells the Gospel story through the testimonies of women transformed by love healing and faith.

New York, NY, February 26, 2026 — In her evocative and faith centered novel The Day After His Crucifixion author Merikay McLeod offers a powerful reimagining of one of history’s most sacred moments by shifting the narrative lens to those whose voices have too often gone unheard. Set in the immediate aftermath of Yeshua the Nazarene’s brutal execution the story unfolds through the experiences of the women who knew him, followed him, and were forever changed by his ministry.

While the crucifixion and resurrection are traditionally recounted through male perspectives, McLeod’s novel gathers the women of the New Testament as eyewitnesses to grief, hope, and remembrance. Heartbroken they come together to comfort one another sharing food, stories, and memories of the man they believed to be the Promised One. In doing so they recall not only his suffering but the freedom, healing, and abundant life he brought into their own lives.

Among those who speak are Peter’s mother-in-law, the woman healed of a long flow of blood, the crippled woman once bent double, and the bride whose wedding feast was saved when Yeshua joyfully transformed water into wine. As each woman tells her story familiar Gospel moments rise from the page with renewed intimacy, warmth, and emotional depth allowing readers to experience these sacred events as lived encounters rather than distant scripture.

The Day After His Crucifixion is rich with heartfelt testimony revealing Yeshua’s ministry of compassion, courage, and radical love. Through personal accounts the novel illuminates his message of God’s kingdom come, his willingness to challenge injustice, and his power to restore dignity to those cast aside. The women’s voices bring a tenderness and authenticity that invites readers to reflect on faith not as doctrine alone but as lived relationship.

Written for readers of Christian fiction, spiritual seekers, and those longing for a deeper connection to the New Testament The Day After His Crucifixion speaks to the enduring power of remembrance, community, and hope. It invites readers to sit among the women, to listen to their stories, and to encounter Yeshua anew through hearts filled with love and loss.

The book is now available. Secure your copy here: https://www.amazon.com/Day-After-His-Crucifixion-ebook/dp/B0DYYZS2QC/

Veteran Children’s Creators Launch Captain Flashlight Jr., an Animated Children’s Series Focused on Faith, Family, and Character

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Captain Flashlight Jr. is a new faith-based animated children’s series created to support families and churches in guiding children toward biblical truth, strong character, and a confident faith.

Developed by experienced children’s storytellers with backgrounds in trusted programming such as Sesame Street, Barney & Friends, and Thomas & Friends, and inspired by the faith-centered Davey & Goliath, the project is rooted in a clear mission: helping children understand who God says they are—and how to live that out in everyday life.

Each episode draws inspiration from the Armor of God, translating scripture into stories children can understand and apply. Rather than abstract lessons or fantasy battles, Captain Flashlight Jr. focuses on real moments—choosing honesty, seeking peace, standing strong in faith, and showing kindness when it matters most.

Production of the pilot episode will be led by Janimation, an Emmy Award–winning animation studio with over three decades of experience bringing animated stories to life across entertainment and educational media.

Co-creator Rod Butler explains the vision:

“Families need stories that draw us closer to God.
Let’s bring back stories that honor faith, family, and build character.

Our supporters will help create a purposeful alternative for kids.”

The team is currently raising support to complete the pilot episode, which will serve as the foundation for the series and future outreach. Churches, families, and faith communities are encouraged to participate through giving, sharing, and prayer.

By supporting Captain Flashlight Jr., believers help place faith-filled stories into the hands of children—stories designed to reinforce biblical values and help kids shine God’s light in the world around them.

Funding for the pilot is being raised through a crowdfunding campaign, inviting individuals, families, and churches to participate not only through financial support, but by sharing the project within their communities. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Filament City Media ensures that donations directly support mission-driven children’s storytelling and are tax-deductible where applicable.

The crowdfunding campaign is now live at:

ALWAYS REMEMBER: A New Christian Children’s Book by Kyle Ackerson

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – “A Beautifully Written and Illustrated Story from a Father to His Children”. Illustrated by Jonathan Taylor

In my house, at random intervals, I call out to my kids and say, “Always remember what?” My kids quickly call back, “Daddy loves me!” For some of them, this started before they were grown enough to speak. I would whisper to them, “Always remember Daddy loves you!”

Romans 8:38-39 says, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

I want my kids to understand that nothing can separate them from the love of their earthly father and I hope they come to see God better because of it. This book is the heart of a father, for his boy. It is filled with my hopes for my kids, not just their present but their future.

I pray as they grow, they will tackle life with all its joys and struggles while being sure that they are loved. This is for kids everywhere, but especially for Levi, Roselyn, Theo, and Boaz.

Always remember, Daddy loves you!

hearts on the high school floor

What does it really take to reach a generation for Jesus—and lead them well?

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Hearts on the Highschool Floor is a powerful, practical, and deeply moving guide from Cameron and Renee Bennett—widely regarded as two of Australia’s most trusted and influential youth pastors.

Born from a relentless love for young people, this book pulls back the curtain on decades of hands-on ministry and proven leadership.

From helping birth the global movement Planetshakers to leading Youth Alive Australia, the nation’s largest Christian youth movement, Cam and Renee share the real story behind the impact.

Since becoming Directors in 2014, Youth Alive has reached over 400,000 young people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and seen nearly 90,000 faith commitments—results that speak louder than hype.

As pioneers committed to unlocking the next generation, the Bennetts have launched landmark initiatives including:

  • United We Stand — Australia’s largest youth outreach, uniting more than 30,000 young people across denominations in a single night
  • Youth Alive Academy — a youth-focused leadership college with 14 campuses nationwide
  • UNIVS — a national movement reaching university students and young adults with the gospel

Now, for the first time, they distil everything they’ve learned into one essential resource.

Hearts on the Highschool Floor is not theory. It’s a go-to leadership manual for anyone serious about building a youth ministry—and a leadership team—of depth, resilience, and lasting impact. Inside, you’ll discover timeless principles that cut through a culture obsessed with quick wins, polish, and platforms.

This book will free you from the pressure to perform. You’ll be reminded that transforming a generation doesn’t require perfect sermons, flashy buildings, or curated social media feeds. It happens when ordinary people carry an extraordinary love for Jesus and young people—willing to step into the mess, the questions, and the heartache alongside them.

With raw honesty, Cam and Renee share both the crushing losses and the unforgettable wins. As you turn each page, your leadership will grow—but more importantly, your heart will be reignited.

If you work with young people in any capacity, this book is for you.

Do yourself—and the next generation—a favour. Grab your copy of Hearts on the Highschool Floor, published by Ark House, today. Because, as Cam and Renee remind us: God chose this generation to live in this moment—but He also chose you to lead them.”

Gilbert, AZ— Redemption Press announces the release of Even Now: Discovering Hope, Joy, and Peace in Every Season by Tracie A. Wallace, a thirty-day devotional that meets readers in life’s hardest places and anchors them in the unchanging presence of God. Drawing from Scripture and lived experience, Tracie explores how hope, joy, and peace remain accessible through a living relationship with Jesus—even in seasons of waiting, suffering, and loss.

As anxiety, burnout, and spiritual fatigue continue to rise, Even Now speaks to believers longing for faith that is steady and real. Rather than offering quick fixes, Tracie invites readers to slow down, return to God’s Word, and rediscover the assurance that reconciliation with Christ brings lasting hope, resilient joy, and peace that holds firm when circumstances do not.

Organized around the themes of hope, joy, and peace, each daily reflection blends biblical truth with personal insight, guiding readers to align their thoughts with Scripture and recognize God’s faithfulness in both ordinary and painful moments. Designed for personal devotion, small groups, or ministry use, Even Now emphasizes a simple but powerful truth: God’s help is not postponed—it is present.

Tracie Wallace’s paperback will be available on February 3, 2026; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through February 7, 2026. Early readers are already sharing how much the story has touched them—here’s what a couple of reviewers have said:
