New Bible Study Helps Women Rediscover Intimacy with God Through Listening Prayer

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Gilbert, AZ—What if prayer was never meant to be a checklist but a place of deep friendship with God?

In her new sixteen-chapter Bible study, Hearing God’s Heart (Redemption Press, 2025), author and ministry leader Holli Aparicio invites readers to slow down, make space, and experience the joy of hearing God’s voice with clarity and confidence. Designed for both individual and group use, this study guides women into a fresh, life-giving rhythm of listening prayer rooted in Scripture, intimacy, and rest.

Drawing from her years of leading women’s discipleship and prayer groups, Aparicio writes with warmth, biblical depth, and gentle invitation—reminding readers that God is always speaking, and His voice is always wrapped in love. Through teaching, reflection, and guided “encounter” exercises, Hearing God’s Heart helps readers:

• Reimagine prayer as an intimate relationship rather than a task
• Learn why God speaks and the many ways He communicates
• Overcome distraction, spiritual fatigue, and doubt
• Experience moments of stillness that lead to clarity, peace, and renewal
• Cultivate a prayer life rooted in rest, not performance
• Grow in hearing God’s voice—for themselves and, when appropriate, for others

“God always has something to say to us, and His words are always hopeful and wrapped in love,” says Aparicio. “My heart in writing this study was to help women slow down, make space, and discover how beautifully God speaks when we simply come and listen.”

Hearing God’s Heart is available through Redemption Press, Amazon, and other major retailers.

New YA Fantasy Asks: What If One Choice Could Change an Entire Kingdom?

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Sydney Frusti’s “Lily’s Passage” invites readers into a world where courage, identity, and truth come at a cost.

E-book is Available to Download for Free through November 29th

GILBERT, AZ — November 24, 2025 — Redemption Press announces the release of “Lily’s Passage,” a bold YA fantasy debut from Sydney Frusti. Set in the war-torn kingdom of Alderdale, the novel follows Farrah and Asken—two outsiders whose choices could shift the course of a nation clawing its way out of fear and deception. As readers increasingly seek stories that acknowledge darkness yet point toward hope, “Lily’s Passage” offers a timely exploration of identity, courage, and the quiet resilience found in choosing the light.

In a kingdom where unity has been replaced by intimidation, the story mirrors the questions many young people are asking today: Who can I trust? What do my choices mean? And what if the truth costs more than I’m ready to give? Through Farrah’s longing for a life beyond her small town and Asken’s battle to face the consequences of the cause he once served, Frusti paints a compelling portrait of what it takes to stand firm when everything feels uncertain.

Early readers praise the book’s rich worldbuilding and emotional depth, noting echoes of Eragon, The Last Battle, and Where Darkness Cannot Follow. With its blend of adventure, intrigue, and heartfelt themes, “Lily’s Passage” positions Frusti as a fresh new voice in YA fantasy.

Sydney Frusti’s print copy is available on November 25, 2025; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through November 29, 2025. Readers continue to share how profoundly “Lily’s Passage” has moved them. Here are just a couple of their reflections:

5 Stars New Favorite

I am absolutely obsessed this was such an amazing read!! If you’re looking for a new adventure this is the book for you! Trust me!

Gloria Fennimore
5 Stars A sweeping, emotional fantasy that stays with you!

I was swept into the world of Alderdale from the very first chapter. The author has created a lush, war-torn kingdom filled with heart, danger, and beautifully layered truth. It has a few faith based references but nothing “in your face” or offensive to non-Christians… I especially loved how the story weaves themes of identity, sacrifice, and choosing the light when shadows press in. The emotional depth surprised me, and there were several moments that made me pause to breathe it in. It’s rare to find a fantasy that balances action, heart, and wisdom so gracefully… This was a richly imagined read that left me thinking about the characters long after the ending. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!

Glenn
5 Stars Keeping it real!

Down-to-earth stories that feel genuinely lived rather than polished. The author’s transparency gives the book real emotional weight, turning setbacks into powerful reminders of resilience and hope for moving forward. It’s an encouraging, positive read for anyone navigating a difficult season or rebuilding after a major setback.

LA
5 Stars Honesty

BOOM is one of those books where you can actually hear the author talking. Tim Barker writes exactly how people tell stories in real life—straightforward, unfiltered, and not trying to impress anyone. That tone makes the book easy to get into, even when he’s describing some pretty intense, sometimes graphic moments from his work … If you like memoirs that are candid and grounded, this is a worthwhile read. It’s not flashy, but it’s sincere, and the sincerity is what makes it stick.

Confronting Evil in Our Time

New Book Release: Confronting Evil in Our Time A Devotional Cultural Commentary Inspired by C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters, Written Across Traditions to Show Church Unity

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Scottsdale, AZ, November 18, 2025 – At a time when the body of Christ is often splintered by tradition, culture, and denomination, two authors from opposite sides of the Atlantic have joined forces to sound a unified call: evil is not passive, and the Church must not be divided.

In Confronting Evil in Our Time (ISBN 9798274398428), Ian Faith, who grew up within Catholic and Anglican traditions in England, and Galen Balinski, shaped by American Protestant and Southern Baptist heritage, offer a 31-chapter devotional cultural commentary designed to equip believers for the spiritual battles of the modern world.

Together they model the unity Jesus prayed for in John 17:20–23, demonstrating how brothers in Christ can set aside secondary differences for the sake of the gospel.

Written in the spirit of C.S. Lewis’s classic The Screwtape Letters, each chapter uses one of Screwtape’s original letters as a launching point to expose the enemy’s subtle and not-so-subtle strategies today. Through Scripture, prayer, practical insight, and cultural discernment, Faith and Balinski help readers recognize spiritual deception, resist temptation, and walk with courage and clarity in an age where truth is contested and good and evil often trade names.

From the first chapter, readers will hear two distinct voices, English and American, contemplative and revivalist, speaking with one heart,” the authors write. “We have not hidden our differences; we have simply refused to let them drown out the greater truth that all who call on the name of Jesus are enlisted in the same battle.”

“This is not a companion guide or academic critique,” they emphasize. “It is a devotional field manual for the spiritual war we are already in. Our prayer is that every chapter strengthens believers to confront evil with truth and love.”

Early Praise for Confronting Evil in Our Time Early readers praise the book for its clarity, biblical depth, and practical guidance for daily spiritual warfare.

“This devotional brilliantly extends Lewis’s work, unpacking demonic attacks with wisdom, Scripture, and the authors’ practical insights. It equips readers with hope for daily spiritual battles. Ideal for personal devotion or group study. A must-read!”

“Ian and Galen strike a rare balance between intellectual depth and practical application. Each chapter offers clear biblical grounding alongside relevant cultural commentary. Valuable for everyone from new believers to longtime students of theology.”

Galen is a pastor with over a decade of ministry experience, a small business owner, and a trained theologian. New Book Challenges Believers: Are You a Child of God in Name Only Or In Spirit?

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Provocative Work Calls Christians Back to Spirit-Led Living and Authentic Faith

Toronto, Ontario –  November 18, 2025 – In an era when millions identify as Christian yet report feeling spiritually empty, a bold new book from the Puritans’ perspective  asks the question many are afraid to confront: Are You a Child of God? challenges readers to examine whether their faith is rooted in genuine spiritual life or merely religious identity.

Drawing from the profound wisdom of Puritan writers and years of personal spiritual wilderness, the book confronts what the author calls “powerless Christianity”—a faith built on intellectual agreement rather than inward transformation. Through several themes such as:—The Weaned Child and The Witness of the Spirit—readers are guided toward the authentic, Spirit-filled life that Scripture promises but many have never experienced.

“There is perhaps no phrase spoken more lightly today than ‘I am a child of God,'” the author writes. “Yet Scripture teaches that to be God’s child is not simply a title we claim, but a life we are brought into—a life of the Spirit, marked by inward transformation, communion with Christ, and the witness of the Holy Spirit within.”

The book directly addresses a growing crisis in modern Christianity: believers who know doctrine but don’t know God intimately, who attend church but lack spiritual vitality, who claim salvation but show no evidence of the Spirit’s transforming work. Rather than offering easy answers or comfortable platitudes, I Am A Child of God—invites readers into the demanding but life-giving process of being weaned from worldly comforts and learning to walk authentically in the Spirit.

What sets this book apart:

  • Uncompromising honesty about the shallow state of much contemporary Christianity
  • Deep Puritan wisdom applied to modern spiritual struggles
  • Personal testimony of wilderness experience and transformation
  • Practical guidance on recognizing the Spirit’s witness and living from His power
  • No empty theory—written for those genuinely hungering for authentic faith

“This book is not meant to trouble you. It is meant to awaken you,” the author explains. “The question isn’t whether you’ve said a prayer or joined a church. The question is: Are you living from the Spirit? Does the Holy Spirit bear witness within you that you belong to God? Is your faith alive, or just believed?”

I AM A CHILD OF GOD —In Name Or In Spirit? is for believers who sense something is missing, who long for stability beyond emotion, who desire to know God not just in belief but in experience. It offers no shortcuts, but it does offer hope: the promise that true Christianity—marked by the Spirit’s presence, Christ’s life within, and genuine fellowship with the Father—is available to all who sincerely seek it.

What on Earth is God Doing

New Devotional “What on Earth is God Doing?” Invites You to Rediscover your Divine Purpose in God’s One Big Story.

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – E-book is Available to Download for Free through November 22nd

GILBERT, AZ — Veteran pastor, missionary and educator Randy Young invites believers to rediscover their divine purpose in his new devotional, “What on Earth Is God Doing?” (Redemption Press). With over forty years of cross-cultural experience, Young offers a global perspective that envisions and calls every follower of Jesus to live out the Mission of God daily—right where they are.

Rooted in decades of first-hand ministry among the nations, “What on Earth Is God Doing?” challenges Christians to see beyond comfort and borders to embrace their God-given role in His “One Big Dream.” Each devotional entry helps readers uncover how their personal obedience connects to God’s unfolding plan for the world.

As missions awareness grows amid global uncertainty, Young’s message arrives at a crucial moment for the Church. He reminds readers that God’s mission continues to advance among the nations and that every believer is invited and commissioned to take part – so this call is not a matter of if but rather where and how each person will respond and engage.

Drawing endorsements from respected Christian leaders including Doug Clay, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, and Dave Buehring, founder of Lionshare Leadership Group, Young’s devotional combines Scripture, reflection, and field-tested wisdom to help readers align their daily lives with the heartbeat of God’s mission.

5 Stars Great Resource for Anyone!

This book is an incredible resource for short-term mission teams, small groups, and even 1-on-1 discipleship! We look forward to using it with student on college campuses and young adults who are understanding God’s heart for the world for the first time and awakening a fresh perspective in those who are well acquainted with it. I highly recommend this book!

Marc Petty

5 Stars A powerful reminder of God’s heart for the world

This book stirred something deep in me. It helped me see Scripture through a fresh lens, one unified story of God on a mission and His invitation for each of us to join Him. The practical “day” format made it easy to read slowly and reflect, while the stories of faith and obedience inspire me to live more intentionally for God’s glory. It challenged me to think bigger, pray bolder, and remember that we’re all part of God’s plan to reach the nations. Highly recommend to anyone longing to live on mission right where they are.

“With passion, clarity, and deep biblical conviction, Randy has written a book that is not just about missions—it’s about the very heart of God. This is more than a call to action; it’s an urgent invitation to step into the grand story of God’s mission to reach every tribe, tongue, and nation. If you’ve ever wondered what it truly means to be a disciple of Jesus, this book will challenge and inspire you to live on mission every day. Read it, wrestle with it, and then take your next step in God’s global plan!—Mark Miller, senior partner, Pendleton Consulting, Author of Experiential Storytelling”

PROSTITUTION TO PREACHING

New Release Highlights Testimony of a Man Saved from the Grip of Satan and a Life of Prostitution

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still,” said Corrie ten Boom, who survived the horrors of a Nazi concentration camp in World War II. Fellow Dutchman Stan Mons would agree. As a young man in a Christian home in Holland, he was searching for love and significance when he promised his soul to the devil in exchange for wealth and success.

He did not know then the depths of sin and degradation that would hold him in dark bondage and ultimately bring him into a life of prostitution.

In a new release, Prostitution to Preaching (Redemption Press), Stan Mons recounts his powerful personal testimony of encountering the presence of God at the depths of his bondage. God spoke to him, asking him to come back to him and warning, If you do not come back now, you will never come back.

At twenty-two Stan surrendered to the Lord and was born again, redeemed by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. A new man, he was filled with the Holy Spirit and began telling everyone what God had done.

Dr. Teresa Conlon, president of the Summit International School of Ministry, the Bible School of Times Square Church in New York City, says, “This book is more than a mere collection of stories, it is a powerful testimony that deserves to be read and shared with others. It delves into the depths of the human experience, inviting us to embrace our vulnerabilities and discover the transformative power of the enduring love of Christ.”

Stan Mons is a graduate of the Summit International School of Ministry and today is the pastor of Safe House Church in Portland, Oregon. He says God will use any life that is placed in His hands, adding, “The damage Satan can do to your life is completely reversible.”

Besides being a powerful testimony of being delivered from darkness to light, this book highlights the depths of God’s love and how God led a broken young man step-by-step into service for Christ.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

life in the slow lane

Finding Meaning in the Ordinary: David Morrison’s Life in the Slow Lane

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – At a time when the world glorifies speed, ambition, and the pursuit of more, David Morrison offers something rare: a heartfelt celebration of the ordinary life.

In Life in the Slow Lane, his debut book written in his late eighties, Morrison invites readers to pause, reflect, and rediscover the quiet joys of a life well-lived.

Drawing from almost nine decades of experience, Morrison crafts a gentle yet compelling portrait of an Australian life shaped by faith, family, and service. His writing moves seamlessly between personal history, social reflection, and family anecdotes — from the haunting legacy of his father, twice enlisted in world wars, to Morrison’s own memories of teaching in an outback town once humorously dubbed “The Most Boring Town in Australia.”

Far from dull, these stories shimmer with wisdom, humour, and a sense of gratitude that comes only from long observation and deep faith.

Part memoir and part reflection, Life in the Slow Lane offers a mosaic of insights into Australia’s changing landscape — political, cultural, and spiritual. Morrison’s reflections on events such as the 1975 Dismissal of the Prime Minister sit alongside the more intimate tales of raising five children and cherishing a marriage that has spanned more than fifty years.

Through it all, one constant remains: a steadfast Christian faith that shaped not only his worldview, but his purpose as a husband, father, teacher, and citizen.

Readers will also enjoy Morrison’s wit and thoughtful opinions, many of which were honed over decades of writing letters published in newspapers and journals. His voice, while gentle, carries conviction — a reminder that one need not shout to be heard, nor travel far to see clearly.

“Not so much a scintillating chronology as a prosaic mosaic,” Morrison describes his work with characteristic modesty. Yet within this mosaic lies something quietly profound: the revelation that a “slow lane” life — faithful, humble, and grounded — can be rich beyond measure.

After a career teaching Geography, Asian Studies, and Commerce across all levels of schooling, and later studying ancient Greek to deepen his understanding of Scripture, Morrison continues to share his lifelong love of learning and faith. His book, much like the man himself, is both a mirror and a gift — reflecting the steady light of a life that has found meaning not in fame or fortune, but in service, humour, and love.

Life in the Slow Lane is more than a memoir; it’s an invitation to rediscover what truly matters. It’s a tribute to the countless “ordinary” men and women whose quiet integrity sustains the world.

Because sometimes, the richest lives are the ones lived — beautifully — in the slow lane.

Life in the Slow Lane, published by Ark House, is now available globally.

Breath of the Spirit International Ministries

Urgent Relief Provided to Persecuted Pastors in Sudan

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – LOS ANGELES, Calif., Nov. 11, 2025 – As Christian persecution intensifies across East Africa and Sudan, an international ministry is launching a large-scale effort to provide relief, training, and humanitarian support to frontline pastors serving in high-risk regions.

Breath of the Spirit International Ministries, led by founder Dr. Michelle Corral, will host the Fire and Anointing Sudan Pastors Conference this December in Yeida, South Sudan, in partnership with South Sudanese church leaders.

The initiative builds on more than a decade of outreach to persecuted Christian leaders across Egypt, East Africa, and India. The Fire and Anointing Pastors Conferences are distinguished by a full-sponsorship model, covering transportation, lodging, meals, and conference costs for all attending clergy. The program was first launched in Egypt during the Mubarak era to support pastors facing arrest, surveillance, and extremist threats.

Today, the initiative has expanded across East Africa, with conferences held in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Ethiopia. Outreach teams travel into conflict-affected and remote regions to identify pastors in crisis, provide safe passage to training hubs, and supply humanitarian aid.

Sudan is now the ministry’s most urgent focus. With escalating conflict, church burnings, displacement, and targeted violence against Christian leaders, the upcoming South Sudan gathering is expected to serve up to 500 Sudanese pastors from the Nuba Mountains, Khartoum, Darfur, and Port Sudan. Attendees will receive trauma support, ministry training, essential supplies, and secure transport to and from the event.

Humanitarian relief remains a core component of the program. In Ethiopia, the 2025 Fire and Anointing Conference provided medical treatment to more than 2,500 individuals through volunteer physicians. In Northern Uganda, the ministry continues to support displaced pastors living in refugee camps, equipping them to assist fellow refugees through spiritual care, education, and relief efforts.

the kindhearted raven

A Whimsical Tale of Faith and Courage: The Kindhearted Raven Calls Readers to Authentic Living—Available to Download for Free Through November 15th

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – GILBERT, AZ —What if a single whisper from a dream could shape the rest of your life? In “The Kindhearted Raven” [Redemption Press], author A. R. Cecil invites readers into the tender, thought-provoking story of Willa Barrett—a woman whose childhood encounter with a talking raven plants a truth she’ll spend a lifetime learning to live: “Be yourself, and see what happens.”

From the time Willa is little, she’s tried to earn love and belonging—first from her distant father, and later from the inner circle at church led by the persuasive and perfection-driven Megan. When faith becomes tangled in people-pleasing and appearances, Willa must decide whether to stay silent or speak truth, even if it costs her the approval she’s worked so hard to gain.

Blending a touch of whimsy with deep spiritual insight, “The Kindhearted Raven” explores themes of identity, courage, and grace through a relatable story of one woman’s awakening to who God made her to be. Readers will recognize their own wrestle with insecurity and faith as Willa learns that being “good enough” was never the goal—freedom in Christ was.

With poetic language and imaginative storytelling, Cecil weaves a narrative that feels both intimate and universal. It’s fiction that lingers—inviting readers to examine the quiet ways perfectionism and approval can distort faith, and to rediscover the kindhearted voice of God calling them back to authenticity.

A.R. Cecil’s paperback is available on November 11, 2025; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through November 15, 2025. Readers continue to share how profoundly “The Kindhearted Raven” has moved them. Here are just a couple of their reflections:

Kimberly Morrison
5 Stars God’s good is good enough

The Kindhearted Raven is one of those stories that stays with you long after you close the book. Through Willa’s journey, Cecil beautifully explores what it really means to find our worth in Christ, not in others’ opinions. Willa’s struggles felt so real, and her growth reminded me how God gently calls us to be authentic and brave in standing for truth. It’s an honest, heartfelt read that encourages Believers to let go of performance and lean fully into who God made us to be. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s ever felt the pressure to be “good enough.”

Debbie Cruson
5 Stars A Must-Read!

I just finished reading “The Kindhearted Raven” and found it to be a spiritually uplifting story. It encourages me to live my life showing others kindness, compassion, grace and God’s love. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a story that will inspire you to be a light in this difficult world we live in.

the babushka tree

The Babushka Tree – A Tale That Warms the Heart and Enriches the Soul

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Who doesn’t love a classic story that captivates the imagination, nourishes the soul, and enlightens the mind?

Debut author Melissa Parenty has long cherished exactly these kinds of tales. As a mother of seven, she delighted in reading stories aloud that built faith, shaped character, and created lasting family memories.

Melissa’s love affair with books began early. A voracious reader, she devoured every genre—from childhood classics to her father’s collection of WWII autobiographies. “For me, reading is a kind of virtual learning experience accessed through words on a page,” Melissa explains. “Stories don’t just entertain; they teach and transform us—which is exactly why Jesus used parables.”

Her passion for learning and teaching has guided her life. Melissa has served in children’s and women’s Ministry, taught religious education in schools, and currently works as a Trainer Assessor in Literacy.

The Inspiration Behind The Babushka Tree

The idea for The Babushka Tree grew from Melissa’s fascination with Babushka dolls—symbols of matrilineal lineage and generational connection. A remarkable truth inspired her: a female foetus at just twenty weeks’ gestation already carries the next generation within her, in the form of oocytes (eggs). “Think about it,” Melissa says. “You were present inside your mother’s developing body when she was carried within your grandmother’s womb. If you’ve carried daughters, you’ve also carried your future grandchildren.”

This profound concept became the seed for a story about healing, heritage, and hope. Melissa imagined Babushka dolls infused with supernatural healing power—a reflection of the biblical model of women as nurturers.

Set in the fictional village of Damseldorf, the story follows an elderly couple, Yousef and Mamie, who lovingly craft and gift their handmade babushka dolls to a community suffering from a failed harvest. When a blind girl named Flora receives one of these dolls, her life—and the lives of those around her—begin to change. Among them is David, a bitter-hearted school bully whose journey from cruelty to courage becomes one of redemption and grace.

A Celebration of Family, Faith, and Redemption

Married for thirty-five years, and a proud mother of seven, with nine grandchildren  and number ten on the way, Melissa draws deeply from her own experiences of family life. She’s a strong advocate for traditional family values and sought to develop characters that embody the richness, resilience, and blessings of family relationships.

Themes of generosity, grace, healing, and redemption run through The Babushka Tree, creating a story that both delights and uplifts. Readers will find themselves turning the pages eagerly, drawn toward a heartwarming and satisfying conclusion.

To deepen the experience, Melissa includes a “Biblical Reflection Journal” at the back of the book—an invitation for readers to explore the scriptural truths woven throughout the story. “I wanted to create not just a good story,” she says, “but a space for readers to reflect on why it’s a good story—to connect the dots between narrative and biblical truth.”

A Life of Purpose and Hospitality

Melissa sees her greatest calling as being a wife, mother, and grandmother, while also embracing the Proverbs 31 vision of an industrious woman who engages meaningfully with her community. Her life has been a blend of family, ministry, mission, and business.

From 2007 to 2015, the Parenty family lived in France as missionaries with Pioneers, where they planted a church on the Atlantic coast—Surf Church Hossegor—and founded Surfhostels Biarritz and Bidart as part of their business-as-mission efforts. Melissa is fluent in French and still counts France as a beloved second home.

Hospitality has always been at the heart of the Parenty family. “We’ve always opened our home to guests,” Melissa shares. “Our family table has welcomed people from all around the world.”

Since moving back to Australia in 2015, the Parenty family have been owner operators of a café, ‘The Hungry Surfer’ and their current hospitality adventure is ‘Kanigan Mountain Retreat’ situated just over an hour north of the Sunshine Coast.

Melissa hopes to engage with her readers and this is possible through contacting her via social media (search The Babushka Tree on Facebook and Instagram) or writing her an email: thebabushkatree@gmail.com.

The Babushka Tree, published by Ark House, is now available globally.

Serengeti Serendipity

A Picture and a Thousand Words: Serengeti Serendipity-
From the Depths of Despair to the Heights of Kilimanjaro

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – “This is not the book I thought I would write,” says Michael Delport, author of the compelling new memoir Serengeti Serendipity.

“When the idea of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro first came up, I envisioned a straightforward adventure: train, travel, climb, summit, celebrate. A mountain conquered, a dream fulfilled—another bucket list item checked off.

“But life had other plans.”

What unfolded instead was a journey of interruption, resilience, and redemption. Just days before his planned ascent, deep in the Serengeti and miles from medical help, Michael experienced a sudden and serious health crisis. Instead of heading for the summit, he found himself grounded, catheterised, and facing surgery.

That unexpected detour sparked deeper questions: about health, courage, purpose, and timing.

In Serengeti Serendipity, Michael recounts his deeply personal adventure—a quest to summit Africa’s highest peak not once, but twice. The first attempt ends in disappointment. The second, a year later, is a return journey with a close-knit group of friends and a renewed sense of purpose.

Between those two climbs lies a whirlwind year across continents, marked by uncanny timing, unexpected help, and moments that feel… serendipitous.

“I wrote this book because too many things happened that I couldn’t explain away as coincidence,” Michael shares. “Help arrived exactly when I needed it. Doors opened when they logically should have stayed shut. It all felt too precise, too timely. I knew I had to tell this story—for my family, for my friends, and for anyone who’s ever wondered if life is just random… or something more.”

This is Michael Delport’s debut book. A successful businessman, he writes not from the mountaintop, but from the perspective of a husband, father, brother, and friend—someone whose plans were upended in ways many of us can relate to.

“You don’t have to go to Africa to know what it’s like to have your world turned upside down,” he says. “Maybe you’ve had dreams interrupted, plans delayed, or health scares that made you question everything. If so, I hope this book encourages you.

I hope it stirs your adventurous spirit, prompts honest reflection, and helps you wrestle with that deeper question: What really gives life meaning?”

Serengeti Serendipity is a story of setbacks and second chances, of pain and perspective, and ultimately, of finding purpose in the unplanned.

Published by Ark House, Serengeti Serendipity is now available globally.

Redemption Press Unveils Inspiring New Release:
The Haunting of the Holy: Reflections on the Spirit’s Unexpected Pursuit
by Sari Butler

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – GILBERT, AZ — What if the Spirit of God has been pursuing you all along—through your pain, your poverty, your silence, and your wonder? In her stunning new book, “The Haunting of the Holy: Reflections on the Spirit’s Unexpected Pursuit,” author and poet Sari Butler invites readers into a sacred encounter with the relentless love of the Holy Spirit.

With lyrical prose and piercing honesty, Butler reveals how divine beauty often hides within our brokenness. Through intimate reflections drawn from childhood memories, personal struggle, and quiet revelation, she uncovers the mystery of a God who meets us not in our perfection—but in our poverty of spirit. Each story shimmers with the tension between ache and grace, light and darkness, emptiness and fullness.

“Although it is not a step-by-step guide,” the author says, “my goal for the reader is to develop the ability to see their own experiences through the lens of the Spirit’s presence, Who woos us to a closer relationship to God. In other words, to be affected by the sacred—to be constantly aware of the presence of the Spirit moving in our hearts and lives.”

Readers will recognize themselves in Butler’s hauntingly beautiful reflections—moments where the veil thins, where heaven brushes earth, and where grace transforms even the most fragile heart into a place of encounter.

Revelation and Other End-Time Scriptures

A Fresh Lens on Revelation: A Compelling Exploration of Prophecy for Today’s World by Jack G. Anderson

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – GILBERT, AZ — What if the mysteries of Revelation aren’t as hidden as we think? In his newly re-released book, “Revelation and Other End-Time Scriptures” (Redemption Press), author Jack G. Anderson invites readers to take a clear-eyed, Scripture-based journey through one of the most misunderstood—and most relevant—books of the Bible.

Drawing on more than five decades of personal study and teaching, Anderson presents a futurist and literal interpretation that connects prophetic Scripture with unfolding world events—without sensationalism or fear. From the rise of a ten-nation confederacy to the identity of Babylon the Great, Anderson’s meticulous research helps readers grasp the order, purpose, and divine sovereignty revealed in God’s end-time plan.

Anderson’s interest in prophecy began as a young boy listening to his mother discuss the return of Christ. Years later, while serving as a corporate vice president in finance, he developed a passion for studying end-time Scriptures, eventually teaching Revelation at his church. What began as a set of study notes has now become a comprehensive guide designed to help believers read Revelation with confidence and awe—not confusion.

With clarity and conviction, “Revelation and Other End-Time Scriptures” offers:

  • Chapter-by-chapter commentary on Revelation and related prophetic passages
  • A reasoned discussion of key interpretations—highlighting surprising conclusions
  • Insight into where the Antichrist and ten-nation confederacy may arise
  • Biblical perspective on the mark of the beast and the identity of Babylon the Great
  • Encouragement to trust in God’s sovereignty amid uncertainty

This timely resource brings both hope and understanding to readers seeking to discern the times without fear, grounding their faith in the ultimate victory of Christ.

Jack Anderson’s paperback will be available on November 4, 2025; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days through November 8, 2025. Early readers are already sharing how much “Revelation and Other End-Time Scriptures” has touched them:

5 Stars God’s Amazing Love and Plan for People!

This is an amazing book that I thoroughly enjoyed! I loved reading how the book of Revelation ties into so many other books of the Bible, both Old Testament and New Testament. God has given us a beautiful guide through the Bible of how much He loves people and has planned for those who follow Him. Revelation and Other End-Time Scriptures helped me understand many things about that plan!
