“Memoirvotional” Orphan No More: A 100-day Journey from Trauma to Redemption

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Baltimore, MD/March 1 – New author Heather Williams is set to release her latest book, Orphan No More, a powerful “memoirvotional” that promises to inspire and uplift. The part memoir, part devotional is available, March 1st, 2025. To celebrate the book’s release and all God’s done, Heather Williams will be hosting an official book launch on Saturday March 1st, 2025 where readers can get exclusive insights into the testimony behind the book, enjoy live worship, and get their book signed. Readers in the Baltimore area can claim their free ticket here.

In Orphan No More, Williams takes readers on a riveting 100-day journey from the depths of despair to the unshakable joy and freedom found in a life surrendered to Christ. As a biracial child growing up in a turbulent and abusive home, Heather faced abandonment, addiction, and a paralyzing sense of unworthiness. But when she encountered the relentless love and redemptive power of Jesus, her life turned upside down. Through raw and honest storytelling, Heather reveals how God can take the most broken, traumatized, and shattered life and restore it to wholeness. Heather’s journey will inspire readers to believe that no matter how lost or damaged they feel, they are seen, valued, and never alone.

Nikki Lewis, international selling breakout author of Jezebel to Jesus calls “Orphan No More” a powerful story about a broken girl who took many wrong turns but ultimately found redemption and a deep love for God. Heather presents a unique blend of a memoir and a devotional—what she calls a “memoirvotional”—which delivers a captivating, faith-filled journey that will move you to tears, uplift your spirit, and draw you closer to Jesus. This is a must-read for anyone seeking purpose and freedom from their past.

Orphan No More is on sale now from Amazon and other major retailers. For more information about Orphan No More, to inquire about a review copy, or to schedule an interview, please contact Heather Williams at contact@iamheatherwilliams.com.

New Book Helps You Take the Hand of Jesus Through Pain and Suffering Into a Life of Freedom And Purpose

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Have you ever found yourself in an unthinkable story? One you never asked to be a part of? Like me, I’m sure you have a story or two. How have you handled the journey through this unthinkable situation? Have you traded your pain, suffering, and heartache for freedom and purpose?

Or do you find yourself stuck in the moment, replaying the event over and over? When I found myself in that hopeless place, I discovered there was a hand reaching down to me, like a lifeline, inviting me into something more. The invitation was an exchange of ashes for beauty; it was freedom from suffering; and it was a relationship with a person of peace. That hand was Jesus’ reaching down for me.

In Unthinkable, I share my deeply personal story of tragedy and the miraculous transformation that followed. My story begins with the devastating loss of my son. In that unimaginable moment of pain and grief, I found myself completely broken, drowning in sorrow, and questioning how I would ever move forward. But it was in that dark valley that I encountered Jesus in a way I never had before.

As I sat in my deepest despair, I heard His voice whispering to me, reminding me that I was not alone. He reached into my pain and began a work of healing and restoration that I never thought possible. Through His presence, I found hope again. Through His love, I learned how to surrender my suffering and walk into a life of purpose.

In this book, you will learn to:

  • Surrender your pain for purpose
  • Walk through heartache with Jesus by your side
  • Exchange your suffering for healing
  • Gain God’s vision for your story
  • Equip yourself to be part of a bigger story

Only Jesus can transform our deepest sorrows into a life of abundance, beauty, and freedom.

Quotes from Unthinkable

“We had to get out of their way, so I went into the bathroom in the hallway that was close to his room. It was a single bathroom—it was just me and a mirror, and for the first time in a long time I cried out to God for help. I felt a desperation that I had never known in my life. Tears streaming down my face, I stared into the mirror and heard the Holy Spirit say, ‘Heather, this is about you coming back to me.’ It stopped me dead in my tracks. I was stunned. The God I believed in and knew as a little girl was right there with me. He had never left me, even though I was living my life without Him.”

“There is no one who has suffered more than Jesus. Not only did He suffer unimaginable physical pain, but He also bore the weight of mankind’s sin! He died a horrible death for you and me. Moved by His love for us and desire to see us set free, He went to the cross. We can’t even comprehend that. If we are going to identify with and be made like Jesus, then surely God will work through our pain and suffering too. And like Jesus, we have an opportunity to be ‘resurrected’ as well.”

“If we stay stuck in the loss and pain, then it’s all for nothing—the enemy wins. But I don’t want that to be your last chapter. I want you to overcome and lay it all down before Jesus so you can help others find their freedom in Him. There is so much suffering and pain in the world. So much loss, deception, and hurt. But we know this doesn’t have to be their story. We have a part to play, a piece of the puzzle for them. Let your loss be the treasure someone else gets to pick up. Let your story be the loaves and fishes that Jesus does a miracle with to feed others.”

A Life-Changing Read – Praise for Unthinkable

“This life is imperfect. Therefore we all experience pain and suffering. I applaud this author’s willingness to be open and transparent in her grief. She provides strategies to keep going. I recommend this book for anyone who feels stuck in the dark valley. This author offers the way to abundant life.”

“I love how transparent and honest Heather is in telling her personal story of how she overcame grief and sorrow through a tragedy that no one would want to experience. We all have or will experience suffering at some point in our lives because we live in a fallen world. Heather not only shares her own journey but also encourages us to remember who Jesus is and His truths throughout the scriptures. When we are reminded and stand on those promises, it enables us to move forward when hard and faith-trying times do come. This book will encourage you (as it has me) to keep running the race that God has called you to; increase your faith; and encourage you to share your testimony of what He has done in your life, even in our most difficult circumstances.”

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” – Romans 8:28

“This book is very well written and shares personal stories from the author which really helps us relate with her. So often we hear about the good going on in our lives and how good God is, but it’s easy to say that God is good when everything is going well! This book, however, points to how God is good even when things in our lives are not. This book is so beautifully written and brought tears to my eyes. The author wrote her stories in such a raw and vulnerable way that helps us as readers feel connected to her. Even though our stories may not be the same as hers, we can still see how God could be there for us just as much as He has been for Heather. This book is a must-read!”

Closing the missions gap: New partnership empowers churches to send and support missionaries

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – Raleigh, N.C. – The decline in the number of missionaries since 2001 is alarming. A 2024 report by Nations Outreach found 430,000 missionaries serving full-time on the mission field – down from 1,135,000 missionaries in 2001. Nearly half of them serve five years or less.

In an effort to address both the need for laborers and uncertainties faced by local churches, Missions:Together (M:T), announced a new partnership with Here2There Ministries (H2T) Feb. 20. The partnership offers a wider audience access to Here2There’s cohorts, coaching and resources, because churches want to advance missions but often do not know how.

Here2There’s curriculum complements M:T’s vision of helping churches, missionaries and networks develop strategic plans for missions. This is all in an effort to reverse negative trends.
“We believe every church can actively participate in missions,” said Carl Dobrowolski, Missions:Together’s Advancement Lead. “By coming alongside pastors and leaders, we want to bridge the gap between intention and execution.”

Mark Knetsch, Missions:Together Visionary Lead, said, “We’re joining efforts to equip, encourage and connect churches with pathways to see the world transformed by the gospel.”

Through this partnership, participants will receive tailored coaching for mission strategy development and learn directly from H2T leaders through in-person and virtual expos and workshops. Co-organized events aim to mobilize laypeople for missions, send more to the mission field, and strengthen care and partnerships between missionaries and churches.

M:T and H2T believe that every church is a sending church – and every person is a missionary. Together they seek to “equip leaders, laypeople and missionaries with the confidence and tools to turn vision into action – helping churches send and reach the nations.”

Stefanie Nicholson, executive director for Here2There said, “We want to see churches move from uncertainty to action. Our prayer is that through these resources and tools, we’ll see leaders send, church members go, and partnerships thrive.”

Here2There provides training through a 10-session program called Association of Mission Partnership Development (AMPD). AMPD courses are available in different formats for churches, missionaries and organizations, and cover three phases: missions strategy; missionary care and partnerships; and sending. Courses typically take about 10 months to complete.

About Missions:Together

Missions:Together seeks to accelerate missions through gospel unity, primarily by curating Kingdom collaboration through regular expos, trainings and digital resources. M:T connects individuals and churches to mission organizations and leaders locally, regionally and globally. They encourage church leaders and laypeople to understand their vision for missions and become familiar with the different channels and partners they have to accomplish it. M:T networks currently exist in Raleigh, N.C., and New York, N.Y., with more being organized in other cities.

About Here2There

Here2There, based in Jacksonville, Fla., is a resource and support base for local churches and missionaries. They work with churches to raise up and send their people to serve locally, nationally and around the world, while also working with missionaries to develop thriving partnerships with their sending churches – so all actively participate in making disciples of all nations.

The first co-organized event is a Lunch and Learn on April 8 in Raleigh. The discussion will cover three things every church needs to launch a thriving missions team.

A co-organized regional expo is scheduled for this spring in Jacksonville.

To sign up for an AMPD course as a M:T member, fill out this interest form. To receive updates, subscribe to the M:T newsletter at www.missionstogether.church.

The Power of Preaching

World Challenge Offers Preaching Book from World-Renowned Pastors

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – For immediate release: World Challenge presents The Power of Preaching, showcasing the purpose and effectiveness of true biblical preaching in the words of acclaimed ministers from around the world (Ambassador International; February 4, 2025, $17.99). Each chapter shares wisdom and experience from seasoned proclaimers of the Gospel, including Gary Wilkerson, Voddie Baucham, R. T. Kendall, and Joshua West.

Through the means of biblical study and personal experience, the authors hope to encourage younger pastors and Christian leaders to stay the course as they preach God’s Word, admonishing them to struggle against their own desires and the temptation to cater to their audience.

“As you read their messages, may you see God,” writes Wilkerson. “May God strike you with a sense of Who He is—His might, splendor, and majesty. May He keep you from smallness of thought, heart, mind, study, passion, and the view of God. May God once again give you a high and lifted-up view of Who He is and may that change everything about your preaching.”

World Challenge was founded by David Wilkerson in 1971 to “transform lives through the mission and message of Jesus Christ.” The organization seeks to lead missions, plant churches, aid in orphan relief, provide for widows, open drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, and evangelize around the world.

R. T. Kendall has authored more than sixty books, in addition to being an international speaker and pastor. Educated at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Oxford University, he pastored local churches and served as senior minister of London’s Westminster Chapel for twenty-five years.

Joshua West is a pastor, evangelist, and author. He is the director of World Challenge Publishing and executive director of the pastors’ network at World Challenge, speaking at conferences, crusades, and churches around the world. broken and restored

New Memoir “Broken and Restored” Shines Light on Healing from Childhood Abuse, Addiction, and Rejection

FAITH NEWS SERVICE – United States—Monday, February 3, 2025

Teresa Moyer’s “Broken and Restored” paperback will be available tomorrow February 4, 2025 and ebook free to download for five days through February 8, 2025.

In a world where so many suffer in silence, “Broken and Restored” by Teresa Moyer offers a powerful message of hope, healing, and redemption. This gripping memoir details Moyer’s harrowing journey through childhood abuse, lifelong rejection, addiction, and the unique challenges of navigating relationships with Asperger’s. Through the pain, she found restoration in Christ, breaking free from the chains of her past one memory at a time.

Moyer’s story begins in childhood, where a toxic home life and a cruel classmate set the stage for deep wounds of rejection and abuse. Her high-functioning autism caused her to process relationships differently, leading to further alienation in school, work, church, and personal connections. Seeking comfort in food and alcohol, Moyer found temporary refuge but no lasting peace. It wasn’t until after her mother’s passing that she truly allowed God’s light to reach the hidden corners of her heart, guiding her toward healing.

With raw vulnerability and a message of faith-filled restoration, “Broken and Restored” is a must-read for survivors of trauma, those battling addiction, and anyone longing to see how God can bring beauty from the ashes of deep pain.

Teresa Moyer’s “Broken and Restored” paperback will be available on Tuesday, February 4; with the e-book free to download on Amazon for 5 days, February 4 through February 8, 2025 “Broken and Restored” debuted to rave reviews! Here’s what just a couple of the reviewers have said:
